Real Madrid may be preparing a new offer for Inter defender Milan Skriniar, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Diariogol.com earlier today.

The report details how los Blancos have been on the 25-year-old Slovakian defender for some time now and have an exciting new offer for the Nerazzurri. The Madrid based club would be prepared to offer the Milanese club Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez for Skriniar. The player is no longer considered important to the plans of coach Zinedine Zidane.

Rodriguez is valued at around €40 million, the report continues, and could be included in the deal for Skriniar. The 25-year-old is valued at around €50 million, meaning that Real Madrid may simply offer Rodriguez and some money to Inter in exchange for the player.

Skriniar has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2762 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and helped the Nerazzurri keep nine clean sheets.
