Inter only want money for Argentine star Lautaro Martinez and won’t offer Barcelona any discount, according to a report from Spanish journalist Francesc Aguilar earlier today.
The Blaugrana have been keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentine striker for some time now but have been attempting to offer Inter a variety of deals, instead of paying the full amount of his €111 million release clause.
Aguilar explained the current situation and Inter’s wishes in a post on Twitter, saying: “Barça must take note of what happened between PSG and Inter in the Icardi deal. From Paris they offered Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes, two excellent players. Marotta said they want money. We apply this position to Lautaro Martínez. Inter wants money in hand.”
