Barcelona have told Inter that they wish to complete a deal for Lautaro Martinez as soon as possible, perhaps even within the next week according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Blaugrana club have tabled the 22-year-old striker a €10 million a year contract – a contract well out of reach for Inter – and it remains to be seen if Lautaro will try and force a move to the Spanish side or not.

Inter have already rejected a deal that included €80 million in cash whilst Barcelona have made it clear that they will not pay his €111 million release clause.

Inter have made it clear to Barcelona that they want at least €90 million plus one or two players with Nelson Semedo and Emerson Royal both potential candidates to be included.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to add that it is unlikely that Arturo Vidal will be included in any deal. Although Inter are interested in him, they would rather he was not included in the deal.
