Inter have rejected a players plus cash offer from Barcelona for striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Nicolo Schira.

The Blaugrana club are very keen to land the 22-year-old forward but as per Schira they have seen an offer consisting of €70 million plus Nelson Semdedo and Arturo Vidal rejected by the Nerazzurri club.

Inter have told Barcelona that they will only allow the Argentine national team striker to leave the club if Barcelona are to pay the €111 million release clause that is in his current contract.

The clause can only be triggered by clubs outside of Italy during the first two weeks of July and , as per other reports in the media, it must be paid in full within one week of activation.

Schira also claims that Barcelona have offered a contract worth €10 million a year to Lautaro, who has also been linked to the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain.
