Leicester City are ready to battle it out with Inter for the signature of Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho according to a report in today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.
The EURO 2016 winning midfielder, as per the report, could be allowed to leave the La Liga outfit for a fee in the region of €20 million.
This is not the first time that Inter have drawn links to the 28-year-old midfielder. The Nerazzurri were linked with him a few weeks back but were also strongly linked with him during his days at Liga NOS side Sporting prior to his move to Real Betis in 2018.
This season the Angolan born Portuguese national team player has barely played as a result of a series of muscle injuries.
He has been limited to just nine appearances across all competitions to date and in just over 700 minutes on the field, he has provided a single assist for his teammates.
