Mundo Deportivo journalist Francesc Aguilar has claimed that Juventus are actively out to spite Inter by holding talks with Barcelona ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

As per Aguilar, Juventus have shown an interest in several players who have been linked with Inter in recent weeks in a bid to complicate things for their arch rivals.

Both clubs have shown an interest in Nelson Semedo as well as midfielder Arthur. Recent reports have suggested that Juventus are trying to set up swap deals for both players whilst both players have been mentioned as players Inter would be open to receiving as part of a deal for striker Lautaro Martinez.

Lautaro Martinez is seemingly Barcelona’s top transfer target ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window but rather than pay his €111 million release clause, they reportedly want to do a player(s) plus cash deal for him instead.

“A person who knows a lot about football and the transfer market has told me something that has made me think: ‘Deep down, Juventus, with their negotiations with Barça, are seeking to complicate Inter’s life. The ‘Old Lady’ knows that Inter is working on a great project,'” Aguilar wrote on Twitter.
