Real Madrid could offer James Rodriguez plus cash to Inter in a bid to sign defender Milan Skriniar in the coming months according to a report from Spanish news outlet diariogol.com.
Los Blancos are looking to strengthen their back line in the upcoming Summer transfer window and Inter and Slovakia centre back Skriniar is one of a few players they have identified who could do just that.
Real Madrid value James at €40 million whilst the report claims that Skriniar has a value of €50 million and therefore the 13 time Champions League winners could offer the Colombian national team player plus a cash adjustment to even things out.
The report goes on to add that this is not a situation that Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane expected but it is a situation that he would sign for to take place without any real thought.
This season James has been limited to just 13 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied two assists. Skriniar has meanwhile made 32 appearances, in which he has tallied a single assist.
