Inter have taken to social media platform Twitter to recall Wim Jonk’s goal in the 1994 UEFA Cup final second leg win over Austria Salzburg, who are now known as Red Bull Salzburg.
Inter won the first leg in Austria 1-0 thanks to a goal from Nicola Berti whilst Jonk secured the Nerazzurri a 1-0 victory on home soil in the second leg with thanks to an audacious chip.
Jonk joined Inter in 1993 from Ajax and spent two years with the club, in which he made 67 appearances, scoring 13 and assisting twice.

A lot of defensive midfielders can strike a longshot, but how many have the composure to pull this out in a UEFA Cup final? 🏆
