Former Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has been flouting Brazil’s Coronavirus lockdown rules according to reports in various Brazilian media outlets such as O Dia and Lance!.

Almost every country in the world finds itself in some sort of lockdown in a bid to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus but Gabigol has taken little notice of the regulations in Brazil and now risks getting himself into trouble for his actions.

As per the reports, the 23-year-old forward’s neighbours have claimed that he has been hosting all night long parties and barbecues with dozens of friends and others present at these events despite the rules in place.

Former Santos player Gabigol, who has five caps for Brazil, joined Flamengo on a permanent basis during the most recent January transfer window from Inter after a highly successful loan spell during 2019 in which he fired the Rubronegro club to Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa Libertadores glory.
