Inter will go in for either RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner or Lyon’s Moussa Dembele if Lautaro Martinez is to depart the club in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Lautaro has been continuously linked with a move to Spanish powerhouses Barcelona ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window and as per the report Inter will do a three way deal with Barcelona and Manchester City.

Barcelona will send Nelson Semedo to Manchester City who will send Joao Cancelo to Inter and Barcelona will also give Inter a substantial cash sum for Lautaro.

The money Inter receieve will be more than enough to bring in a suitable replacement for the 22-year-old Argentine international and the report claims Inter have settled on bringing in either Werner, who has also been linked to Liverpool, or former Celtic player Dembele.

Werner has a release clause in his contract that will be either €50 million or €60 million depending on if RB Leipzig win the Bundesliga whilst Lyon want €40 million for Dembele.

The report goes on to conclude that Inter have shelved the idea of bringing in Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
