Ionut Andrei Radu is no longer one of the front runners to become back up goalkeeper to Samir Handanovic at Inter starting from next season according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Romanian shot stopper was initially seen as the front runner to be deployed as Handanovic’s deputy but Inter have other ideas for the position.

The report goes on to explain that the race is now between Udinese’s Juan Musso, Atalanta’s Pierluigi Gollini and Parma’s Luigi Sepe.

It now remains to be seen what will happen with Radu, who is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Parma.

Radu joined Parma on loan for the second half of the season but did not make any appearances for them prior to football being brought to a halt due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Radu spent the first half of the season out on loan at Genoa and during his spell with the Rossoblu club he made 19 appearances across all competitions.
