Inter’s interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal could impact their pursuit of highly rated Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wanted Vidal brought in in the most recent January transfer window and after no move came to fruition, Conte wants more attempts to be made to reunite him with the Chilean national team player.

Should Vidal arrive at the Nerazzurri, Inter’s midfield would be considered complete numerically speaking and this would in turn impact any potential move for Tonali, who is currently on the books of fellow Serie A side Brescia.

Whilst Inter could of course still go in for Tonali, he would likely have reservations about joining the club where there would be a packed midfield where he may struggle to get regular game time.

If Inter sign Vidal, it would undoubtedly boost Juventus’ hopes of landing Tonali.
