Lega Serie A have announced Saturday June 13 as the provisional date for the 2019/20 Serie A season to resume in an official statement via their website.

The 2019/20 Serie A season has now been on hold for over two months and if all goes to plan it will resume in exactly one month’s time from today.

Lega Serie A have now sent the proposal on to the Italian government to consider with the draft schedule seeing teams play the remainder of their games every three or four days with the end of the season then coming on Sunday August 2.

The remaining Coppa Italia semi final matches involving Napoli and Inter and AC Milan and Juventus will be held on Wednesday July 1 and the Coppa Italia final will be played on Wednesday July 22.

It now remains to be seen whether the Italian government will give the go ahead to this plan to get the Serie A season back underway.
