Inter and Juventus are both very interested in signing Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter have been working on a deal to sign him for a few months now with Inter manager Antonio Conte a big fan of the Italian national team player and the report points out that Inter have excellent relations with Fiorentina.

Juventus are meanwhile keeping a close eye on each and every development regarding the highly rated 23-year-old, who has been a real revelation this season.

Fiorentina are however adamant that Castrovilli will be staying put with them. Castrovilli is under contract with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season and the report suggests that he could be handed a one year contract extension in a bid to deter the interest shown in him.

This season Castrovilli has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date and in just over 2200 minutes on the park, he has scored three goals and tallied two assists.
