Inter have offered a long term contract offer to highly rated Panathinaikos youngster Georgios Vagiannidis according to a report from Greek news outlet Sport Zone via Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

As per the report, Inter have offered the defender a five year contract which comes with an annual salary of €400,000.

Vagiannidis has rejected the chance to sign a contract extension with his current employers due to having his sights set on a move abroad and the report goes on to explain that Inter will have to pay just €410,000 in training compensation to land him.

Inter have beaten competition from AS Monaco and Manchester City for the 18-year-old full back, who made his first team debut this season.

All in all this season, the Greek under 19 national team player has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, the majority of which at youth team level. In 1238 minutes he has scored five goals and tallied one assist.
