The agent of Inter target Jesús Manuel Corona, Matías Bunge, spoke about his client and how he is focused on winning with Porto in an interview with International broadcaster ESPN earlier today.

“He is ready for the next step and wants new challenges, even if today he is focused on Porto and the possibility of winning the national title again.

“I think he is an ideal element for a team that plays an attacking style, the player is a weapon in this sense and the statistics say that. In fact, he is among the top 10 European players with the most assists.”

The 27-year-old Mexican midfielder, who is contracted to Porto until 2022, has made 41 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 3314 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided 17 assists, being one of the most creative players in Europe this season.

Inter are looking to strengthen their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to close the gap with Juventus, who seem likely to win the league title this season despite the opposition from the Nerazzurri and Lazio.

Coach Antonio Conte has started building his project at the club and the club’s management believe that Corona could be a good fit for the Lecce born coach’s system.
