Inter are not considering the possibility of selling Christian Eriksen after his poor start to life at the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Eriksen joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window but far from lived up to expectations in the appearances he made before football was brought to a halt due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Whilst Inter are not planning on selling Eriksen they are expecting more from him. It is now on Eriksen to prove his worth and show whether he will be central to the club’s project or a luxury player who is not one of the most important players to the side.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to explain that if the 2019/20 Serie A season is to resume Eriksen may not necessarily be in Inter manager Antonio Conte’s starting line-up and Conte could test Eriksen in his preferred attacking midfield role.
