Inter are in the pole position to sign Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla, according to a report on Twitter from Italian journalist Nicolò Schira earlier today.

The report details how Premier League sides Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in the 20-year-old Albanian defender, who is contracted to the Gialloblu until 2022.

The player is heavily wanted by Inter, who are in advanced talks with Kumbulla and his entourage. Kumbulla declined an offer from Napoli last week, the report continues, as he is more tempted by a move to Inter.

The 20-year-old Albanian centre back has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1581 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and helped the side keep seven clean sheets.

He is one of the most exciting young players in Serie A, with the Nerazzurri keeping tabs on all young talents like Sandro Tonali or Federico Chiesa.
