Stefan de Vrij has taken to photo sharing social media platform to announce that he is to raffle of one of his match worn shirts with all funds raised going toward the the Pope John XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.

The Dutch national team central defender joined Inter back in the Summer of 2018 on a free transfer and is under contract with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season the 28-year-old has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and provided four assists.

He said: “Hi everyone, I have decided to donate this shirt to Bergamo hospital. I have a special attachment to this shirt because I used it in my Champions League debut against Tottenham. I hope you are all good and I send you a hug.”
