Juventus are hoping that Paris Saint Germain will decide to permanently sign Inter owned forward Mauro Icardi, so they can negotiate with the French club, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Bianconeri have been looking for a new number 9 for some time now, with the jersey having been unused since May 2018. The club have been keen on Argentine striker Mauro Icardi for some time now, but understand the difficulty of negotiating with Inter.

Instead, Juventus are hoping that Paris Saint Germain will decide to purchase the player, the repot continues. The 27-year-old has spent this season on loan with the Parisians and could be purchased for €70 million. If PSG sign Icardi, Juventus would then look to approach the club about a possible deal, appreciating that they will be easier to negotiate with compared to their rivals.
