Inter have officially announced via a statement on their official homepage, that all the players, technical staff, management staff and others have tested negative for Coronavirus.

The report details how the staff underwent the test on Friday and the results came back earlier this afternoon, with everyone who took one, testing negative.

The club are preparing for a return to squad training, although the Nerazzurri squad aren’t going to taking to the pitch. They have remained firm in regard to the FIGC protocol and so are waiting for a united position.

“FC Internazionale Milano announces that all of the results from Friday’s medical tests on the Club’s players, coaching staff, management staff and the remainder of the team group have returned as negative” the statement reads.

The German Bundesliga returned this weekend, being the first major European league to do so. Lega Serie A and the FIGC have been closely looking at the German model, basing their return to the stadiums on that model.

Clubs have been opposed to many parts of the FIGC’s protocol, including the restrictive conditions that have been set for squad training, which is why the Nerazzurri won’t begin those sessions yet.
