Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico’s agent Ricardo Schlieper has denied having any form of contact with Inter regarding his client ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The Argentine national team full back is looking to leave Ajax this Summer and whilst Inter have made some enquiries in the past, Schlieper has confirmed there has been nothing more than that but has revealed he has held talks with many other clubs.

“The idea is to leave Ajax, but we will have to see how the transfer window develops. We have spoken to clubs in various countries, but you will understand that there is utmost confidentiality on these issues,” Schlieper admitted in an interview with Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

“Inter is undoubtedly a great club but it must be said that we have had no contact with them.”

Tagliafico joined his current employers back in January 2018 from Superliga Argentine club Independiente and has since made a total of 99 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 12 goals and tallied 15 assists.

The 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 38 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored five goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
