Inter could go back in for Sporting CP defender Marco Acuna after the Liga NOS side have dropped their demands according to a report in today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
Inter showed a keen interest in bringing in the Argentine national team full back in the most recent January transfer window but ended up signing Ashley Young from Manchester United instead.
The Nerazzurri club could however reignite their interest in signing Acuna with the report claiming that Sporting CP have dropped their demands down from €20 million to €15 million.
The 28-year-old joined his current employers back in the Summer of 2017 from Superliga Argentina side Racing Club and he has since went on to make 129 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored nine goals and tallied 25 assists.
This season he has made 30 appearances, in which he has notched a total of two goals and four assists.
