Inter are more likely to give in to Paris Saint Germain Sporting Director Leonardo’s request to get a discount on Mauro Icardi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Inter were initially against the idea of striking a new agreement with the French side who they loaned Icardi to with an option to buy set at €70 million, but have changed their mind about giving a discount due to not wanting to run the risk of Icardi returning to the club as well as wanting to avoid repeating the problems faced last Summer when it came to offloading him.

The report goes on to explain that Inter manager Antonio Conte does not even want to think about the prospect of reliving the events of last Summer.

Whilst out on loan in the French capital, Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 20 goals and tallied five assists.
