Lazio sporting director Igli Tare wishes to finalise a deal for Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Kumbulla has shown a willingness to complete a move to the Italian capital but Lazio are reluctant to meet Hellas Verona’s asking price for the highly rated Italian born Albanian international centre back.

As per the report the Veronese based outfit are demanding €30 million for Kumbulla but Lazio would like to get a discount on him, despite the fact Inter are also interested in signing the 20-year-old.

Kumbulla has had a breakthrough at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club this term and has cemented himself as one of the most promising young defenders in Serie A.

This season he has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date and in his time on the park, he has contributed a single assist and helped his team to keep many clean sheets.
