Who Should Inter Sign As A Replacement If Lautaro Martinez Leaves For Barcelona?

Between 2011 and 2019 Inter Milan fans have had it tough. The club failed to finish above a 4th place in the Serie A but things could be about to change under the guidance of Antonio Conte.
To try and maintain pace with Juventus, Inter Milan will want to keep hold of their best players and that includes young forward Lautaro Martínez. The 22 year old striker joined Inter Milan from Racing Club in his native Argentina in 2018. The transfer fee is reported to have been €22.7 million and Martínez signed a 5 year deal at the club. It didn’t take long for Martínez to score his first goal for Inter Milan as he found the back of the net in a 2–0 win at San Siro on 29 September against Cagliari.
During the Champions League in 2019, Martínez become only the fourth Inter Milan player to score in four consecutive Champions League games. The Argentine international has struck up a good partnership with Romelu Lukaku following the arrival of the Belgian from Manchester United. Inter Milan will be determined to keep hold of Martínez in the summer transfer window but it appears Barcelona have other ideas.
This will leave Inter Milan short of a striker and they will be keen to replace Martínez should he leave the club. The question is, who could Inter Milan realistically buy to take his place in the team?
RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner is the man on top of their list according to recent reports. However, The German international striker could be difficult to land as other clubs including Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus have been showing an interest in his services.
Inter Milan have been happy to bring in players from the England over the past 12 months and could return to the Premier League for a new striker. Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has previously been linked with Inter Milan and there are strong rumours he could leave the Emirates this summer.
Another player who is thought to be high on Inter Milan’s list of replacements for Martínez is Real Madrid’s Luka Jović. His debut season for Real Madrid has been a disappointment and it has been compounded by breaking his foot while at home. The Serbian is expected to cost around €40 million and will be fit by the time next season begins.
It’s very hard to predict what will be Inter’s move with Martinez, if he plays his cards right. A lot of fans have a bigger chance to win at a casino like Mansion Casino, if they use a Mansion Casino promo code, than getting it right with all the transfer rumours surrounding Martinez and Inter.
