Georgios Vagiannidis will spend his first season with Inter out on loan at a club he can play regularly at according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter are on the brink of finalising a deal to bring the highly rated Greek youth national team full back to the club and have agreed personal terms with the player.

Inter will be due his current employers Panathinaikos a compensation amount of €400,000, an amount decided by world football’s governing body FIFA.

The Nerazzurri club are to give Vagiannidis a five year contract with the club that will come with an annual salary somewhere in the region of €500,000.

The report goes on to explain that the 18-year-old will take part in pre-season with the first team but Inter have already decided that it is best for him to spend his first season out on loan somewhere where he is guaranteed regular playing time which will help him in his development as a player.
