Inter are looking to reinforce their full back department in the upcoming Summer transfer window and the Brazilian born Italian national team player is a full back that they have identified who could do just that.
The Nerazzurri club are however not alone in courting the former Roma player with their arch rivals Juventus also keen on signing him.
The 25-year-old defender joined Chelsea in the 2017/18 season January transfer window and has worked with both Inter manager Antonio Conte and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri whilst at Stamford Bridge.
This season Emerson, who has a contract with the Premier League outfit until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has contributed a single assist.
