Arsenal have offered club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a contract extension according to a report in today’s print edition of French news outlet L’Equipe.
The Gabonese national team striker’s current contract with the north London based club is due to expire at the end of next season and as per the report an offer has been made but the details of the offer are not disclosed in the report.
The former Borussia Dortmund player, who joined his current employers in January 2018, has drawn links to several clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window with Inter among the clubs reportedly interested in him.
As per various reports in the media, Inter have identified the 30-year-old as a potential replacement for Barcelona transfer target Lautaro Martinez.
Since his arrival at Arsenal, Aubameyang has made 97 appearances across all competitions to date during which he has scored a total of 61 goals and has provided 13 assists.
