Georgios Vagiannidis has signed a four year contract with Inter according to a report from Greek news outlet SputnikNews.Gr.
The 18-year-old Greek youth national team full back is to depart Panathinaikos, who will get a FIFA determined compensation amount of €400,000 for him.
Reports in Italy have suggested that Vagiannidis would be paid €500,000 a year by Inter but this report claims he has signed a deal with the Nerazzurri that will see him earn €300,000 each year. The contract also includes many add-ons.
The report from SputnikNews.Gr goes on to add that Vagiannidis will undergo his medical with Inter next month prior to the move being formally completed.
Vagiannidis is a product of Panathinaikos’ youth academy and made his first team debut earlier on this season although he has almost exclusively played for the under 19 team this season.
All in all, Vagiannidis has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and provided a single assist.
