Inter can only sign transfer targets Sandro Tonali and Federico Chiesa if they sell Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are keen to sign both of the young Italian talents, looking to build a strong Italian core in the squad, joining other talents like Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi.

Whilst the Milanese club are incredibly keen to sign both the stars, they need to sell Lautaro in order to fund both of these signings.

Lautaro’s release clause is €111 million, the report continues, and that money would prove vital to fund the deals for the two Italian talents. Chiesa is valued at around €60-70 million, with Tonali being valued at around €50 million.

Juventus are also interested in both of the players, but the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has forced both the Bianconeri and Nerazzurri to be more careful with their finances this summer.
