Inter coach Antonio Conte has absolutely no interest in losing Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in the upcoming summer transfer window, amidst interest from Liverpool, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com

The report details how the Reds lost out on signing RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner to Chelsea, and so have funds available to sign a different star in the summer. The club are looking for a new midfielder and have identified Brozovic as a possible option.

Conte has no interest in losing Brozovic and doesn’t want him to be sold for any reason, the report continues. Inter are planning to renew his contract and remove his €60 million release clause, as well as increasing his wages from €3.5 million net per season.

Brozovic has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2715 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided five assists.
