Inter will meet with Sebastiano Esposito’s agent in the next few days to further discuss a contract renewal for the player, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.
The report details how there was a meeting between the Nerazzurri and the 17-year-old Italian forward’s agent Augusto Carpeggiani to discuss a possible contract renewal for the player. His current deal is expiring in 2022 and the Nerazzurri offered a ‘Pinamonti-style’ deal to the Italian teenager, but Esposito would like a slightly better offer.
The two parties will meet again in the next few days, the report continues, to further discuss a possible contract extension. If Esposito doesn’t sign a new deal it is possible that he could be sold by the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Esposito has made 10 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri so far this season, scoring one goal in that time.
