Inter coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of Torino forward Andrea Belotti and would consider signing the player if Lautaro Martinez is sold to Barcelona, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 26-year-old Italian has long been appreciated by the Lecce born coach, both for his tireless work rate, his ability to create space and his drive and dedication, all abilities that are wanted by Conte.

The Nerazzurri may still keep Lautaro Martinez but need to prepare the perfect replacement should he be sold. One problem for Inter is that Belotti is Torino’s captain, the report continues, and that President Urbano Cairo has no interest in selling the 26-year-old Italian striker.

Belotti has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2670 minutes. In that time, he has scored 15 goals and provided three assists.
