Inter have no intention of giving up in their quest to sign Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, despite already chasing other important targets, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how Juventus are pushing to sign the 22-year-old Italian forward, who is contracted to the Florence based club until 2022 and want to provide competition to the Nerazzurri. Inter are looking to secure the player’s signature to strengthen their squad and build the Italian core in the team.
The Nerazzurri have a plan to sign Chiesa, the report continues. The Nerazzurri would be happy to offer Fiorentina players in exchange for the 22-year-old Italian, with some of the options being Zinho Vanheusden, Dalbert, Andrea Pinamonti and Roberto Gagliardini.
Chiesa has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2117 minutes. In that time, he has scored seven goals and provided five assists.
