Spanish journalist Francesc Aguilar, who writes for Barcelona based newspaper Mundo Deportivo, suggested that Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has reiterated his desire to join the Blaugrana to coach Antonio Conte in a post on his Twitter page today.

The report details how Barcelona have already reached an agreement with the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, for a five-year contract.

The Catalan side are still in talks with Inter regarding a price, as they cannot afford to pay his €111 million release clause, although they believe they can secure his signature for €90 million plus one or two players in exchange.

Lautaro has told Conte he wants to play alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona, the report continues. The Nerazzurri understand the 22-year-old’s desire but are still waiting for a suitable offer before agreeing to sell the player. Lautaro has scored 16 goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
