Marcelo Brozovic does not wish to leave Inter and will not leave unless forced to do so according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.

Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, have shown an interest in Brozovic and Inter are going to offer him a new contract in order to remove the €60 million release clause which is in his current contract, which runs until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Since being transformed into a regista by former Inter manager Luciano Spalletti, Brozovic has become an absolutely integral part of the Inter team and his representatives have asked Inter to give him a salary raise and Inter will presumably satisfy these demands as part of the new contract they are weighing up.

This season the Croatian national team player has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park he has scored three goals and provided five assists.
