Intermediaries have approached Atletico Madrid on Inter’s behalf with regard to the availability of Alvaro Morata according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Spaniard is the latest player Inter have shown an interest in signing as they look to bolster their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.
Morata is on loan at Atletico Madrid with an option to buy, which is set at €55 million, and with Atletico Madrid looking to bring in Edinson Cavani, Morata is seen as more transferable.
Morata aside, the report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to explain that Inter are also interested in Torino’s Andrea Belotti, but Torino president Urbano Cairo deems him indispensable.
Inter are also interested in Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his teammate.
It goes on to add that Inter are no longer interested in Aubameyang’s teammate Alexandre Lacazette, who has not convinced Antonio Conte whilst Inter are also too far behind in the race for Lyon’s Moussa Dembele to attempt a comeback.
