Former Inter defender and FC Sion manager Paolo Tramezzani believes that Hertha Berlin’s Mattheus Cunha would be an ideal signing for Inter to make in the upcoming transfer window.

In the past few weeks Cunha is one of several players to have come into links with Inter and reports have suggested that Inter may need to pay in excess of €30 million if they wish to bring him to the club in the coming months.

“He is now doing well in the Bundesliga, he is a very young and if he played for Conte, he could be used in different roles. He is ideal for Inter,” Tramezzani, who managed the highly rated Brazilian at Sion, explained in an interview with Stats Perform News, as cited by FCInterNews.it.

Tramezzani, who spent the 1992/93 season with Inter, proceeded to discuss what kind of player the 21-year-old Brazilian youth national team player is.

“He has immense quality, he likes to have a field in front of him to run into. He is good in one on one situations and also plays for the team. He is a golden boy who is chasing a dream that is coming true.”

Cunha only joined Hertha Berlin back in the January transfer window from fellow Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and he has shone in the German capital.

In seven appearances across all competitions to date for them, he has scored four goals and has also provided a total of two assists for his teammates.
