There are two prerequisites required before Fiorentina will agree to let Federico Chiesa depart the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere Fiorentino.

The first is that Chiesa asks to leave the club and the second is that La Viola receive an offer of €60 million for him.

As things stand, neither of these things have happened as of yet and in the past few days there was contact between Chiesa and club president and owner Rocco Commisso regarding his future with the club.

A more decisive meeting could take place when Commisso will be able to return to Florence and meet with Chiesa in the flesh.

Chiesa has long drawn links to both Inter and Juventus and a number of Premier League clubs have also reportedly shown an interest in signing him.

This season the 22-year-old Italian national team winger has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
