Inter are leading the race to sign highly rated Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.
Inter have been courting the Italian born Albanian national team defender since January and face competition from Lazio and Juventus for his signature although Pedulla explains that Juventus are not planning on making a move for him right now.
Hellas Verona want in the region of €30 million for the 20-year-old, who has had a first team breakthrough this season at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.
Pedulla’s report goes on to explain that Inter are aware that Kumbulla is open to a move to them and that he has also knocked back the advances of Napoli.
This season Kumbulla has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the field, Kumbulla, who is under contract until the end of the 2021/22, has scored one goal.
