Inter manager Antonio Conte will deploy his side in a 3-4-1-2 system in this weekend’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg match-up with Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Despite using a 3-5-2 system for the majority of the season, the former Italian national team boss is to change his system up to take on the Partenopei, who currently hold a 1-0 lead in the tie.
One of the main reasons for the system change is to allow Christian Eriksen to play in his natural role as an attacking midfielder and he will play in that role in behind Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
Despite carrying muscle problems at the moment, the Rome based newspaper believe that both Alessandro Bastoni and Stefan de Vrij will be recovered and available for the match.
Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan De Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
