Sebastiano Esposito has rejected a five year contract offer from Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Augusto Carpeggiani reached an agreement with Inter over a five year deal with an annual salary of €800,000 plus add-ons but the player deemed the offer to be inappropriate and has now sacked Carpeggiani as his agent.

As per the report, the Italian youth national team player is holding out for an annual salary of €1-1.1 million a year plus add-ons, which is around 10 times as much as he currently earns annually.

Having now broken away from Carpeggiani, the race is now on amongst agents to snap Esposito up and as per the report Federico Pastorello is likely going to win the race.

Pastorello has good relations with Inter thanks to having a number of clients already at the club, including Inter’s club record transfer signing Romelu Lukaku.
