Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is already working on a deal to bring Alvaro Morata to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Things are still at a preliminary stage and it is said that Inter manager Antonio Conte prefers Morata to the likes of Edinson Cavani, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Luka Jovic, Moussa Dembele, Federico Chiesa and Andrea Belotti.

Morata will have to be signed outright from Chelsea for €55 million and due to the likely arrival of Cavani, Los Colcohneros are likely to place Morata on the transfer list and could demand a fee in the region of €60-65 million for him.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that there are a number of things that could help Morata join Inter including his tactical suitability for Antonio Conte’s system, having an Italian wife and past experience in Serie A.
