Selling Sebastiano Esposito to Atalanta could potentially help Inter to land Duvan Zapata according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.it.
Inter and Atalanta are currently in talks over a deal for the highly rated 17-year-old and the report suggests that Inter will have an option to sign him back from them for an agreed fee for the next five seasons if a deal occurs
Inter manager Antonio Conte is a long term admirer of Zapata and given the possible departure of Lautaro Martinez coupled with the difficulty in bringing in Edinson Cavani, Inter’s interest in Zapata could become more concrete.
The report goes on to suggest that by dealing Esposito to Atalanta, the Bergamo club may well even drop their demands for the Colombian national team striker.
