Inter manager Antonio Conte is seriously considering using a 3-4-1-2 system against Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The reason Conte is considering the system change is because he is intrigued by the prospect of playing Christian Eriksen in his natural attacking midfield role.

Eriksen is far better suited to the attacking midfield role than the mezzala role, where Conte has almost exclusively played him since his arrival at the club back in January.

If Conte does not select Eriksen for the attacking midfield role, he could well select Stefano Sensi, who is now back fit again.

The report goes on to explain that there are a lot of doubts with regard to the defence. Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni are still dealing with muscle problems.

Godin seems the least likely of the three to recover and the report adds that for the time being Milan Skirniar is the only central defender certain of a place in the team.

The report concludes that Conte is yet to decide whether he will play Antonio Candreva or Victor Moses at right wing back.
