Inter are not giving up in their pursuit of Jan Vertonghen and are facing competition from two fellow Serie A clubs according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Belgian national team defender’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur is due to expire at the end of this month and both Napoli and Roma have also shown an interest in signing him.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to report that Inter are also continuing to court Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla.

Kumbulla has been one of the biggest revelations of the 2019/20 Serie A season, which has been his first team breakthrough season with the Gialloblu club.

Inter will need to pay around €35 million to sign him and they could well opt to loan him back to Hellas Verona for next season so he will be able to play more regularly.
