Inter want to have a midfield department consisting of six players next season, three of whom will be starters and the other three will be more than capable replacements for them according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter have very clear plans for the midfield and both Borja Valero and Matias Vecino will be moved on to reduce the numbers in the midfield to six, including the return of Radja Nainggolan, who is currently out on loan at Cagliari.

The report goes on to explain that there is no certainty that Sandro Tonali will arrive at Inter in the coming months.

The Nerazzurri club have been courting the Brescia midfielder for some time now and deem him to be a very interesting player whilst Tonali himself has shown a preference to join Inter over other options on the table to him.

This season the 20-year-old sensation has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
