Diego Godin has at least two clubs interested in signing him ahead of the upcoming transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Uruguayan national team defender has endured some difficult during his first campaign as an Inter player and this has led to suggestions that he could leave the club.

The report explains that Atletico Madrid have an interest in bringing him back to the club whilst David Beckham’s MLS franchise Inter Miami also have an interest in signing him.

It goes on to add that the veteran’s annual salary of €6 million does not exactly help Inter in the sense it will be hard to find many buyers willing to take such a salary on, especially in the current climate.

This season the 34-year-old has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 1900 minutes, Godin has provided a single assist.
