Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick has sang the praises of on loan Ivan Perisic following his performance in Bayern Munich’s DFB Pokal semi final triumph over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Croatian national team winger joined the Bavarian club on a season long loan from Inter this past Summer and has impressed during his loan spell in Germany, which could turn into a permanent switch.

Bayern Munich had an option to sign him outright for €20 million and although that option has since expired, reports suggest that they still intend to sign him on a permanent basis from the Nerazzurri.

“We know Ivan’s qualities and today he showed them once again,” Flick remarked following the 2-1 win last night, as quoted by Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

This season the former Borussia Dortmund player has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date. In just under 1400 minutes on the park, the 31-year-old has scored six goals and he has also provided a total of eight assists for his teammates.
